"Ke ithuta Setswana" is my blog to jot down my Setswana Learning experiences. Here, I am just enjoying learning the national language of Botswana. So far, I hired two tutors; and while they were both great, but being grown-ups we all rely on other jobs for our livelihood; and so the work commitments kept clashing and I found myself getting no where with my Setswana learning.

Now, I decided to do self-learning from a great book called "FIRST STEPS IN SPOKEN SETSWANA" by Printing & Publishing co. Botswana. The book was bought for me by my first Tutor. Now that I decided to use the book; I realize that there is supposed to be CD along with it; which I did not receive. So this means pronunciation, will need to come from my buddies at work :)... which is actually a great thing. This way, I will be forced to let go of my hesitation and begin to learn by making mistakes.

My learning technique is very simple. I read the lesson and do the exercises. And, to my luck, the book has answers to the exercises at the end. However, I am being very honest and marking my own exercises like a Strict Teacher. I will be writing the exercises here, and also putting my score which I get in each exercise. I think self-learning is going to be fun!
